New Adaptive Design of the Things App for the iPhone Duo

01. A relevant update for the iPhone Duo

The task management app Things, developed by Cultured Code, has recently received a major update. With the upcoming release of the iPhone Duo, this app now features an interface tailored to the specifics of this device. This includes a flexible design that works well whether the phone is folded or open.

02. Optimized functionality

The new design allows for smooth usage, regardless of the state of the iPhone Duo. Whether the device is closed, fully open, or partially folded, the Things interface adjusts automatically. Additionally, the app supports both portrait and landscape orientations, providing great flexibility in use.

An improved interface

One of the standout innovations is the addition of a sidebar. This allows users to easily navigate between different task lists, making organization more intuitive than ever. For the first time on iPhone, it is possible to open two Things windows side by side. Users can drag and drop items from one window to another to better manage their tasks.

Commands at your fingertips

Commands are now grouped in a vertical bar, easily accessible with the thumb. This includes the Magic Plus button of Things. This button can be repositioned within a list to quickly insert a new task at the desired location.

03. Using with a keyboard

For those who prefer enhanced typing comfort, connecting a keyboard reveals all the advanced features of Things. This includes persistent selection, keyboard shortcuts, and the Type Travel feature, which allows for quick navigation between lists.

04. Conclusion

The update of Things for the iPhone Duo demonstrates Cultured Code's commitment to providing an optimal user experience. With its new features, this app becomes an essential tool for those looking to better manage their tasks.
